“Green” investments are very much in favour at the moment, as a new book for institutional investors confirms

The new book by lawyer and financial expert Mirjam Staub-Bisang “Nachhaltige Anlagen für institutionelle Investoren” (“Sustainable Investment for Institutional Investors”) provides a comprehensive analysis of how institutionals invest. The author summarizes the history of the term “sustainability” before moving on to possible investment strategies, legal considerations and the practical implementation of sustainability in the investment process.

Contributions by practitioners about sustainable investment in various asset classes ensure there is plenty of practical substance to go with the theory. One of Kaiser Partner’s experts was involved in the project: Inge Schumacher, Head of Responsible Investing, wrote a chapter on sustainable investment in equities. Early positive feedback has come from Klaus Schwab, founder and president of the World Economic Forum: “The right book at the right moment”.

More information about the book can be found on the website of publisher Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
