Fritz Kaiser delighted by LISDAR

Fritz Kaiser talks about the Liechtenstein Congress on Sustainable Development and Responsible Investing 2010

Fritz Kaiser on the Opening Event:

“I thought the opening of the Liechtenstein Congress was very positive. I enjoyed it very much, and I’ve had a lot of positive feedback from the other people there. The theme of Responsible Investing is close to my heart. I’ve been working intensively on it for seven or eight years now, particularly through the Private Wealth Council. It’s great that the subject is gaining such momentum now in Liechtenstein thanks to the partnership with the University of Liechtenstein.

The launch event was very successful and attracted a lot of interested guests. I was impressed by what Mr. von Weizsäcker said. I like his Factor 5 philosophy. The presentations by the other speakers were interesting too. And I won’t forget the wonderful music. All in all it was a very nice start to a conference that will hopefully have a resonance far beyond our little country. That would be great.”

Fritz Kaiser on the “The Role of Private Wealth” workshop

“Mr. Menichietti, Mr. Reibling and I said that after a day and half of conference we didn’t want to do another talk with the audience just having to sit and listen. We wanted to do an interactive workshop, so we came up with two scenarios for 2013. We discussed these in two groups and asked the following questions: Is this scenario desirable? If yes, why? And then: if this is a desirable scenario, what do we have to do now to ensure it happens in 2013; or if it isn’t, to ensure it doesn’t?

I found it a really fascinating discussion and the one-and-a-half hours went by far too fast. In groups of ten people each we very quickly came up with some interesting results thanks to knowledge capturing and what I call group genius – and it was a lot of fun.”
